🎡 Prize Wheel

The Prize Wheel widget lets viewers spin a customizable wheel for a chance to win prizes, creating exciting moments of anticipation on your stream.


Overview

Viewers spend Juice to spin the wheel. The wheel lands on a random prize based on the probability weights you set.

Default Cost: 5 Juice per spin


How It Works

  1. Viewer types: !spin in chat
  2. Juice is deducted from their balance
  3. The wheel spins with visual animation
  4. Prize is revealed when the wheel stops
  5. Result is announced in chat (optional)

Prize Configuration

Each prize can have:

  • Name: What the viewer wins
  • Enabled: Whether it appears on the wheel
  • Weight: Probability (higher = more likely)

Setup Instructions

Step 1: Enable Prize Wheel

  1. Go to Widgets → Prize Wheel in your dashboard
  2. Toggle Enabled to ON
  3. Set your spin cost

Step 2: Configure Prizes

  1. Find the Prizes section
  2. Click Add Prize to create new prizes
  3. For each prize:
    • Enter the prize name
    • Toggle enabled ON
    • Optionally adjust the weight

Step 3: Add Overlay to OBS

  1. Copy the Prize Wheel overlay URL
  2. In OBS, add a Browser Source
  3. Paste the URL
  4. Set dimensions: 600 x 600 (recommended)
  5. Position where you want the wheel to appear

Probability & Weights

How Weights Work

Weights determine how likely each prize is to be selected:

  • Higher weight = more likely to land
  • Lower weight = rarer prize
  • All weights are relative to each other

Calculating Odds

Odds = (Prize Weight / Total Weight) × 100%

With the example above (total weight = 100):

  • "Gift Sub" = 1/100 = 1%

Overlay Customization

Position Settings

  1. Go to Prize Wheel settings
  2. Adjust X/Y coordinates or use the position editor
  3. Changes save automatically

  • The wheel displays all enabled prizes
  • Colors are automatically assigned
  • Prize names are shown on wheel segments

Managing Prizes

Adding Prizes

  1. Go to Widgets → Prize Wheel
  2. Click Add Prize
  3. Enter the prize name
  4. Set the weight
  5. Save changes

Editing Prizes

  1. Find the prize in the list
  2. Click edit or modify the fields
  3. Save changes

Removing Prizes

  1. Find the prize
  2. Click delete or disable it
  3. Disabled prizes don't appear on the wheel

Best Practice: Keep It Simple

  • 5-8 prizes is ideal
  • Too many prizes make the wheel hard to read
  • Balance exciting prizes with common ones
