Display on-screen notifications for follows, subs, donations, and widget activations.


Overview

The Alerts overlay shows animated notifications when events happen on your stream, keeping viewers informed and celebrating their actions.

Event Configuration

Each event can be configured for:

  • On Screen: Show on the alerts overlay
  • In Chat: Announce in chat

Setup Instructions

Step 1: Enable Alerts

  1. Go to Utilities → Alerts in your dashboard
  2. Configure your visual preferences
  3. Enable events you want to show

Step 2: Add Overlay to OBS

  1. Copy the Alerts overlay URL
  2. In OBS, add a Browser Source
  3. Paste the URL
  4. Set dimensions: 800 x 600 (recommended)
  5. Position where you want alerts to appear

Step 3: Configure Events

For each event type:

  1. Toggle On Screen for overlay display
  2. Toggle In Chat for chat announcements
  3. Customize as needed

Step 4: Test

  1. Use the Test Alert button
  2. Verify positioning and appearance
  3. Adjust settings as needed

Customizing Alerts

Alert Images

Choose from preset images or use defaults:

  • GIF animations for movement
  • PNG for static images
  • Multiple presets available

Alert Sounds

Select notification sounds:

  • Various preset sounds
  • Different sounds for different events (coming soon)

Text Styling

Adjust text appearance:

  • Font selection from various options
  • Size adjustments
  • Shadow for readability
