Community Guidelines

Citrus Systems is dedicated to empowering live streamers with tools to engage their audience. To ensure a safe and positive experience for streamers, viewers, and the broader community, all users must adhere to these Community Guidelines.

Failure to follow these guidelines may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent banning.
1. Respect and Safety
Creating a welcoming environment is essential for our community.
Prohibited Conduct

| Hate Speech | Using Citrus widgets (TTS, Media Share, etc.) to promote violence, discrimination, or hatred against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or veteran status |
| Harassment | Using our tools to harass, bully, stalk, or intimidate streamers or viewers |
| Self-Destructive Content | Content that encourages self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders |
| Threats | Direct or implied threats of violence against any individual or group |
| Doxxing | Sharing personal information of others without consent |
2. Content Restrictions
When using customizable widgets (uploading sounds for alerts, sending Media Share links, etc.), the following content is prohibited:
Absolutely Prohibited Content

| Nudity & Sexual Content | Explicit sexual content, pornography, sexually suggestive content involving minors |
| Extreme Violence | Gore, excessive violence, animal cruelty |
| Illegal Content | Drug manufacturing instructions, weapons instructions, content violating applicable laws |
| Malicious Content | Malware, phishing links, scam websites |
Widget-Specific Guidelines
Text-to-Speech (TTS):
- Do not use TTS to bypass the intent of these guidelines
- Streamers should enable profanity filters and content moderation
- Phonetic tricks to produce prohibited content are not allowed
Media Share:
- Videos must comply with the content restrictions above
- Copyright-infringing content is prohibited
- Content must be appropriate for the stream's audience
Sound Alerts:
- Uploaded sounds must not contain hate speech or prohibited content
- Excessively loud or disruptive sounds designed to harm listeners are prohibited
Interactive Overlay:
- Images and drawings must comply with content restrictions
- Streamers should moderate and clear inappropriate content promptly
3. Spam and Scams

| Spam | Repetitive, unwanted messages or widget activations |
| Artificial Inflation | Using bots or automation to inflate Juice counts, engagement metrics, or widget activations |
| Unauthorized Advertising | Promoting products or services in a deceptive manner |
4. Platform Compliance
Because Citrus Systems integrates with Twitch, Kick, YouTube, and other platforms, you must also abide by the Community Guidelines of the platform you are streaming on.
Streamer Responsibilities

| Content Moderation | You are responsible for moderating content generated via Citrus widgets on your stream |
| Platform ToS | Content violating Twitch/Kick/YouTube Terms of Service is your responsibility |
| Widget Settings | Configure appropriate content filters and moderation settings |

5. Enforcement
Violation Consequences

| Minor Violations | Warning, content removal |
| Moderate Violations | Temporary suspension (24 hours - 7 days) |
| Severe Violations | Extended suspension, Juice balance forfeiture |
| Extreme Violations | Permanent ban, legal action if applicable |
Factors Considered
When determining enforcement actions, we consider:
- Severity of the violation
- Whether the violation was intentional
- User's history of violations
- Impact on other users
- Whether the user took corrective action
6. Appeals
If you believe your account was actioned in error, you may appeal by contacting us at support@citrus.fyi with:
- Your username
- Date of the action
- Explanation of why you believe the action was incorrect
Appeals are typically reviewed within 5-7 business days.
7. Reporting Violations
If you see a user violating these guidelines, please report them immediately.
How to Report

Include the following information:
- Username of the violating user
- Description of the violation
- Date and time of the incident
- Screenshots or evidence (if available)
- Link to the stream where the violation occurred (if applicable)
8. Best Practices for Streamers
To maintain a positive community, we recommend:

| Set Appropriate Costs | Higher Juice costs can deter spam and low-effort content |
| Active Moderation | Monitor widget activity and remove inappropriate content quickly |

| Appoint Moderators | Have trusted moderators help manage widget content |
9. Updates to Guidelines
We may update these Community Guidelines from time to time. Material changes will be announced via:

- Email to registered users (for significant changes)
Continued use of Citrus Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated guidelines.
